The applicant for the bachelor study is obliged to read the following information before filling in the electronic application:
A) INFORMATION ON ELECTRONIC APPLICATION
- Applicants are admitted to the study without an entrance examination
- Deadline for application and record of administrative fee payment submission: by 31 July 2013 at the latest
- Date of Entrance Committee meeting: 26 August 2013
- Anticipated date of bachelor study enrolment: 2 – 6 September 2013 (results will be available on the Faculty web page)
- Fee for materials and administration of the admission procedure: € 35
The Faculty management only accepts electronically submitted applications - printed forms from the system and delivered with obligatory enclosures to the Faculty by 31 July 2013 at the latest.
The Faculty does not accept the applications set via www.portalvs.sk webpage. The applicant is obliged to set the e-application via STU MTF webpage.

C) FEE FOR THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The payment of the admission fee (€ 35,-) per one electronically submitted application can be executed as follows:
- by cashless payment order executed via bank,
- by Internet banking (executed via the Internet),

VARIABLE SYMBOL is generated by the system in the process of entering the data into the electronic application (information on the bank account, variable symbol, bank code, fee and payment beneficiary can be found directly in the system of application submission, section „paid“).
NOTE – the system generates one variable symbol per one application. In case, the applicant submits more applications – for two or more study programmes, or possibly applies for both forms of study (full-time, part-time), each of the application will be assigned a different variable symbol. D) APPLICATION DELIVERED SHALL COMPRISE
- CV,
- medical check-up record – it is not necessary enclose it to the application,
- record of grades in related subjects accomplished during the secondary school study
E) EDUCATION ACCOMPLISHED ABROAD – Important information:
The applicant, who is the citizen of the Slovak Republic graduated from the secondary school abroad as well as the applicant who is not the citizen of the Slovak Republic and is interested in the university study, is obliged to apply for the secondary education recognition in compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic – more details
F) ADMISSION CRITERIA AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- applicant shall state ONE study programme per one application,
- in case of applying for more study programmes – it is necessary to send the application with all obligatory enclosures for each of the study programmes independently. The system generates a different variable symbol for each of the applications submitted,
- applicants are admitted to the study without an entrance examination considering the following criteria:
- overall average of grades in secondary school study
- average grade in profile subjects (mathematics, physics)
- school leaving examination in profile subjects (mathematics, physics)
- participation in specialized competitions (the submission of the original certificate is essential).
G) STU MTF STUDY FORMS
- forms of study:
- full-time (3 years)
- part-time (combined, i.e. distant study + presence study) (3 years),
- full-time study – teaching is carried out on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
- part-time (combined) study – teaching is executed on Friday afternoons and on Saturdays
- study of all accredited study programmes offered is executed in Trnava. The study of specific study programmes is carried out at Dubnica nad Váhom and Komárno detached workplaces..
H) STUDY AT DUBNICA NAD VÁHOM AND KOMÁRNO DETACHED WORKPLACES
- as full-time or part-time (combined) forms of study in selected study programmes is executed in Dubnica nad Váhom and Komárno STU MTF detached workplaces for two semesters. The next academic year the study is transferred to Trnava.
- Applicant interested in the study in Dubnica nad Váhom or Komárno shall determine the place of study in his/her electronic application explicitly. In failing to do so, the application will be automatically classified as the application for the study in Trnava.
- In case of changes in current situation hindering the study at detached workplaces, the students admitted to the study will be relocated to the study in Trnava.
I) INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The Faculty management accepts only applications submitted electronically.
