Dear students of the MTF STU,
allow us to thank you for participating in a survey on the quality of education at the MTF in which you evaluated the academic year of 2011/12. We appreciate that 581 respondents from all levels, classes, grades and forms and methods of the study took place. This is the highest number of participants in the history of the survey and represents 14.91% of the students of the MTF. By comparison, the previous survey had 6.9% of students participating
Our aim is to obtain opinions of each student. We will continue to ask you and your followers to alert us about the strengths and weaknesses of our faculty, its workplaces, and processes associated with study and the evaluation of individuals who are creators and implementers of these processes. We know that you will also participate in the future if you feel that your opinions are taken into account on the provision that the management of the faculty deals with and eliminates the weaknesses you pointed out.
I can assure you that the results of the survey were discussed by the management of the faculty, based on your suggestions concrete decisions were adopted. Suggestions concerning the individual workplaces were put forward to the heads of professional and administrative workplaces. There were and also will be discussions between the management of the faculty and leaders of institutes, with teachers who receive negative evaluation in the survey.
Results can be found HERE.
Complete survey results can be found in electronic and printed form from the (presently acting vice dean Schreiber). If you feel that a problem that you pointed out, via the BlackBox or through direct communication with doc. Schreiber, is unsolved, it is possible to resolve the matter.
Once again many thanks for taking part in the survey.
doc. Ing. P. Schreiber, CSc., Prof. Dr. Ing. O. Moravčík
Acting Vice Dean Dean of the MTF STU
