- to characterize the issues of safety, health protection at work, environmental studies and fire engineering in the field of industrial enterprises and in the field of services
- describe and explain knowledge from engineering areas of fire and explosion theory, risk management methods, environmental studies and environmental chemistry, extinguishing agents and fire safety, toxicology, remediation technologies and waste management or environmental protection and safety
- characterize the problems of safety and designing safer workplaces, further understands the principles of environmental studies and the basis of their technologies and the basis of production quality
- characterize documentation related to occupational safety and health, environmental studies and related legislation and can describe engineering solutions to safety and environmental problems
- characterize and classify hazardous substances, describe their properties and, based on their properties, describe the methods of handling these substances
- describe and explain the issues of risk analysis, assessment and management and draw conclusions from the findings based on their own findings
- characterize quality in the field of safety and environment and increasing its level
- describe knowledge in the field of workplace safety and dedicated technical equipment
- characterize and classify the parameters of the working environment and describe solutions to increase safety
- describe the knowledge in the field of fire-technical characteristics of the workplace and working environment and can process documentation related to fire engineering
Skills
Graduates of the engineering study program Integrated Safety know and can:
- prepare professional documentation in the field of safety, health protection at work, environmental studies and fire engineering in the field of industrial enterprises and in the field of services

- prepare documentation related to occupational safety and health, environmental studies and related legislation and can propose engineering solutions to safety and environmental problems
- prepare documentation related to the requirements of the working environment in the field of environmental studies and safety
- work with dangerous substances, assess their properties and based on their properties, design ways of handling these substances
- analyze, assess and manage risks and draw conclusions from findings
- Assess and improve quality and environmental quality
- apply knowledge and propose professional solutions in the field of workplace safety and dedicated technical equipment
- determine the parameters of the working environment and propose solutions to increase safety
- determine and critically assess the fire-technical characteristics of the workplace and working environment and be able to process documentation related to fire engineering
Competence
A graduate of the Integrated Safety study program has ability to:
- work independently as an authorized safety technician mastering the basics in the field of safety, environment and fire protection
- work independently as a fire protection technician and as a specialist for major industrial accidents
- independently analyze problems in the field of safety and environment and propose professional and innovative solutions in the monitored areas
- keep professional documentation of the production company in the field of safety, environment and fire protection
At the end of the study, the graduate of the engineering degree prepares a diploma thesis related to safety, fire protection and the environment in order to demonstrate the knowledge acquired during the study.
Graduate application
Indication of occupation
The graduate of the master's study will apply as an authorized safety or fire technician. It is also possible to apply in the field of engineering in environmental studies and safety, where he can process the necessary documentation and manage a team of people working in the field of safety and environment. He will also work as a valid member of the risk analysis and management teams. It will also apply to management positions in risk analysis and management, environmental technologies and integrated safety management systems. risk analyst and in the field of dedicated technical equipment. The graduate will also apply in the field of fire and forensic engineering in the field of fire safety. It can be used in the field of integrated safety, explosions and occupational safety research in managerial positions. He can continue his doctoral studies in follow-up study programs with a related focus.
