Institute research is oriented to the process control infomatization and automation fields on all levels of production control, i.e . technological, workshops and managerial in consideration of new trends in the mentioned fields (development of intelligent control method , new products in the software support of fields, new trends in the storing and information gaining ... ). Primarily we focus to production control field e.g . in the sphere of artificial intelligence on methods utilizable at control (neuronal networks, genetic algorithms, systems to support decision), alike multimedia and graphic systems are oriented to process visualization field, etc .
With the orientation on production process we reach near co - operation with others MTF institutes. Actually we increase part of applied research at the expense of basic research. This depends on increase interest of companies to solve their real problems.
