The Section of MTF STU Academic Library (hereinafter referred to as AL) is an organizational part of the Division of Knowledge Management at MTF STU in Trnava.
Main Activities
- ensure the operation and functionality of the scientific-information workplace via the Faculty coordination and counselling workplaces
- saving and bibliographical administration of qualification theses in/of central register of publications and citations
- preparation, processing and making the information funds available according to the Faculty profile and provision of library-information services due to the users categorization
- utilization of library-information databases related to Faculty academic activities and participation in the elaboration and availability of complex catalogues

- organization and availability of library funds
- absent loans study material, expert home and international resources according to Faculty profile
- qualification theses of students and Faculty employees
- expert library-information services
- services to physically challenged users

- specialized services of intellectual property
Sub-section of study hall Activities:
- presence loan services
- consultation services
- counselling information services
- Internet services, reprographic services
Sub-section of funds processing Activities:
- expert administration and processing of all publications in ARL (Advanced Rapid Library) library system
- administration of conference proceedings and publications monitoring
Sub-section of publications register Activities:
- central administration of publications and citations
- elaboration of the publications database
- databases of research profile
- ORCID (administration ID researchers)
- access to external electronic resources
- counselling services in searching for relevant information
- support in grants and projects solutions by bibliographical research services
