To contribute actively in harmony with the defined mission of The Slovak University of Technology as the university faculty for its shortfall within the scheduled competences in the accredited field of education, science and research, with priority to materials science and production technologies:
- to provide and realise the university system of education in all three degrees of accredited study programmes
- to propagate, deepen and develop the knowledge by science and research
- to provide the transmission of science and research findings into the educational process
- to protect the results of our research
- to integrate into the university system of lifelong learning
- to participate in sustainable development of society by all our activities, especially by the development of student's harmonious personality in the context of humanist and democratic ideals.
