Research of effectiveness related to problem learning and project learning in the subject of mechanical design. |
supervisor |
Associate Professor Ing. Alexander ALBERT, PhD. |
Annotation |
The author chooses one of these approaches to teaching: problem classes, teaching in an artificial environment and project teaching. In the first part of the work it is necessary to make theoretical analysis of selected concepts of teaching whist including a review and Meta-analysis of existing research on the effectiveness of the relevant concepts of teaching. The second part of the work should be focused on the implementation of pedagogical experiments with the chosen concept of teaching the parts of machinery (engineering construction) to the SPS, SOU or in the technology faculty. The author must consider whether one is able to ensure optimal conditions, relating to: teaching at least two parallel classes (groups) - an experimental class and a control class, in which the "equivalent" students will be taught by the same teacher, and the same content of study and use of the same UP and DT together with a range of teaching which is at least two lessons a week, during a one year time period.
