Supervisor |
Dr. h.c., Prof.h.c., Ing. Peter Joehnk, PhD. |
Annotation |
Generally it is assumed that the rate and number of innovative enterprises in the EU is to low. The government tries to increase this number by strengthening the field of state research but quite too often interesting research results from universities and research institutes that does not find its way into the economy. On the other side only a few new products that enterprises launch every year are based directly on state research and a direct cooperation with research institutes. All in all the efficiency of state research is permanently an issue of interest. Keeping this in mind, the main research question is, how does state research have to be organized to stimulate innovation processes in enterprises efficiently? We would be interested in a differentiation between the situation in western Europe and Slovakia. Another focus could be a distinction of different economic cycles. We are especially interested in empirical work. Hypotheses should be strongly based on theory, there testing on empirical data generated by empirical surveys or by analyzing existing evaluation and studies in the form of a meta study. |
